Job Description:

  • Handle all aspects of Corporate Secretarial matters
  • Incorporation of new local & offshore companies and registration of branch offices
  • Deregistration of companies
  • Drafting of board resolutions and minutes of AGM and EGM
  • Updating and maintaining statutory records
  • Preparation and submission of Annual Return in full XBRL format
  • Preparation of corporate secretarial documents and lodgment with ACRA
  • Familiar with requirements and changes under the Companies Act and regulations
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years working experience in related field
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and XBRL
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Team player
  • Able to work independently

Team Description

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate would join as Analyst or Associate (depending on experience). He or she will be based in Singapore and be responsible for company secretarial and related licensing and regulatory matters for Goldman Sachs entities across APEJ.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist senior staff in providing full spectrum of company secretarial duties to the group in-house companies, which include:-
    • organize physical board meetings
    • prepare board minutes and resolutions, and attend to statutory filings
    • maintain proper statutory books and records
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties, including offshore agents and regulatory bodies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Qualified professional member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators / Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in company secretarial fields
  • Proficient in Securities and Futures Act requirements and companies laws in Singapore, offshore regulations and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preferably at a regulated financial institution
  • Qualified professional member of HKICS Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries
